OUR ANNIVERSARY

♥♥♥ Today is our 14th wedding anniversary. Thank you Betty Brooks for these years of love, I hope there are many more to come! ♥♥♥

Our anniversary means a lot,
Much more than any another day;
I celebrate my love for you,
And cherish you in every way.

Through passing time, our love still grows,
A caring relationship to explore;
Our life together gets better and better,
And I keep on loving you more and more.

In memory of the Fourth Anniversary of our Mother passing away.

I wrote this poem in dedication to her. She passed away on 4th January 1997 at 8.45 am in Bogor.

So loved, so missed, so precious in our memory. Sharing our sadness today.

INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHI RAAJI'UN.

" I LOVE AND MISS YOU MUMMY"

I awake each morning to start a new day

The pain of loosing you never goes away.

I go about the things I have to do

And as the hours pass I think again of you...Mum !

I want to call you and just hear your voice

Then I remember that I have no choice

For you are not there and now my heart cries

Just to see you again to tell you goodbye

To say Mummy I love you and I always will

Hope that much of you, in me you've instilled.

The day that you left I just didn't know

That you were going where I couldn't go.

Now all my memories of you are so dear

How I miss you and wish you were here.

Who now can hear me when I need to cry?

It so hard to tell you "Mummy goodbye."

Someday I know all will be well

I'll see you again with stories to tell

Of how you were missed and how we have grown

How good it is to finally be home.

Until then my memories of you I'll keep near and clear

I'll pass them on to those who are dear.

I miss you ...Mummy. !!!! I really miss you so much...!!!!

Every time that I smile,

Every time that I sigh,

I think of your face,

A tear escapes my eye.

You were my world,

My inspiration and my heart,

But when you left me without a word,

I thought I would fall apart.

You were my best friend,

My one true confidante,

And that's not all you were,

You were also my Mum.

I didn't want to live without you,

But you would have wanted me to,

If there's anyone I want to make happy,

That anyone is you...Mummy

I would have given anything to have you back,

But I know now that it was meant to be,

For you are still watching from up there,

I know you're watching me.

I'll make you proud Mum,

I'm going to fulfill your wish,

You're going to see me and smile,

That's a daughter's promise.

May Allah love you for ever and forgive your mistakes.

My husband Amir wrote on 3 August at 21:58 in Facebook regarding our anniversary.

A ANNIVERSARY FOR MY WIFE.

When years are passing by like days,

and in my hand your hand is placed,

a knowing smile crosses your face,

a simple touch can still make my heart race.

When I can see my soul in your eyes,

and you see your soul in mine we realize,

that a love so deep can harbor no lies,

where our only tears shed were happy tears we've cried.

I love you as much now as I ever did before,

if possible, I may even love you more,

all starting from a feeling we did not ignore,

a feeling of connection we chose to explore.

I don't know what it is that you saw in me,

what I saw in you was the utmost happiness that can ever be,

even more so on the day when you and I became "We",

I can still smile and say with love and truth...

Honey, I love you...Happy Anniversary.
